Rez Manzoori

"For as long as I can remember I've been into planes… I've built paper planes, cardboard planes, plastic planes, and more recently balsa as well as foam radio controlled planes. That said, for just about the same length of time I've been taking pictures of planes, starting out with a tiny 110 camera in which the aircraft would appear as dots in a cloudy sky through to my first proper SLR in the late 1990s.

This was a frustrating time as I spent time and hard earned cash for little or no gain in terms of the developed image. My real breakthrough came when I borrowed my brother's Fuji S602 Zoom digital pseudo -SLR… what a revelation! Suddenly photography was once again a real joy and the results have been getting steadily better since!

Within months I had sold my film based SLR and was the proud owner of a Canon EOS D30, a cracking little camera whose images belie the relatively meagre sensor resolution.

I've now moved on again and am shooting with Canon's excellent EOS 10D allied up to Sigma's 18-50 EX and 50-500EX lenses.

I hope you enjoy the images!" Rez

Phil Cooke

"I've always had a passion for aircraft, ever since I was a small child. Airshows, models, books, videos – I was hooked.

I was born in Poynton, Cheshire , UK , and grew up with the overcast of Shackletons, Nimrods and Vulcans visiting our local BAE Woodford Aerodrome. I'd go to the airshow there every year come rain or shine with my family.

I live near Nottingham these days, and I've grown into a keen aviation photographer and modeller, with a particular interest in modern military aircraft. In the summer months I'll regularly attend most of the major airshows in the UK and enjoy visiting accessible airfields for a days photography throughout the rest of the year.

I bought my first Canon SLR in the late 90's and moved to a digital set up in 2004. I use a Canon EOS 300D with a range of Canon and Sigma Lenses.

I hope you enjoy FLIGHTLINEimages.Com and its images... " Phil

John Farrington

"Along with Phil and Rez, I've had aviation in my blood for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the north west of England , Manchester airport became my second home from a very early age, thanks to endless hours of patience from my parents.

This hobby soon spread to air shows and foreign travel in pursuit of that perfect picture, however, I still have a special place in my heart for Manchester . After all, it tends to be where all my adventures start!

Aviation photography seemed a natural progression to my hobby and I soon moved into the realms of S.L.R ownership.

Originally shooting with film, but more recently moving into the field of digital, firstly with a Canon Powershot Pro 90 and then in mid 2004 I upgraded to a Canon 10D. I currently use a range of Canon lenses in my work, as listed…

EF 17-40mm f4.0L

EF 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS

EF100-400mm 4.5-5.6 L IS

I hope you enjoy our work as much as we enjoyed shooting it. " John
